The 5th generation of the Moto G is a budget friendly smartphone that offers great performance for it’s low price.
Unlike the past generations of the Moto G this one is made out of metal in an attempt to make the phone feel and look more premium.
This phone gets the Snapdragon 625 CPU and you can choose either 2GB Ram & 32GB of internal storage or 4GB Ram & 64GB of internal storage.

On the back of the Moto G5 Plus we have a 12MP camera sensor with a f1.7 and can record in 4K at 30fps. There is a 4K sample video in the full video review below.
On the front we have a 5.2″ 1080P Screen with great viewing angles and vibrant colours. Unfortunately the screen doesn’t get bright enough and it’s a bit difficult to see in direct sunlight.
We also have a home button that has a fingerprint scanner and can sense gestures, this way you don’t need to keep the soft buttons on the screen. There are some examples of how the home button works in the review video below.
The phone comes with Android 7.0 right from the box and the UI looks very close to stock Android. That makes the phone very quick while scrolling through screens or opening and closing apps.
There are also some gestures supported for opening the camera or turning on the flash.
