The X1 II is the 2nd generation of the Zidoo X1. This time, the box has the RK3229 processor, 1GB Ram and 8GB of internal storage and running Android 4.4.
The TV Box has Zidoo’s custom launcher and that is what it sets it apart from the other RK3229 boxes. The launcher feels more polished and more professional.
The box is made out of plastic entirely, however it doesn’t look like any other box that you have ever seen. It definitely doesn’t look like a conventional Android TV Box.
The box has only 2 USB ports and doesn’t have a slot for SD cards or a SPDIF output. You will have to do with a HDMI & AV outputs.
The box has Bluetooth connectivity and it’s very easy to connect a bluetooth controller to play games or connect some bluetooth headphones to listen to music or watch a movie.
Most files are played very smooth on the box thanks to the RK3229 processor. Unfortunately i wasn’t able to play a 1080p 10bit mkv file on this box.
Online streaming also goes very good and it only depends on your internet connection.
Overall this is probably one of the best TV Boxes that uses the RK3229.
