Zoomtak T8H TV Box REVIEW – Amlogic S905, 2GB Ram & 16GB Rom

The market is over saturated by Chinese TV Boxes. Many tv boxes come with 2GB of Ram and 16GB of internal storage for under $50. However, they all have some issues.
Today i got a chance to test out the Zoomtak T8H; a TV box that has the Amlogic S905 processor, 2GB Ram and 16GB of internal storage.

Find this Smart TV box on:

Amazon UK: http://amzn.to/1OLvq4s
Amazon CA: http://amzn.to/1sOpymT

The box looks extremely good and elegant. No more cheap plastic; only premium materials. The body of the box is made out of metal this is probably the most beautiful Chinese TV box i’ve seen.
On the front there is a little display and a power button that has a led inside.

Unlike most tv boxes today this box can be used with older tvs that don’t have a HDMI output. Those tvs are rare these days,  but the company is trying to appeal to everyone with this box. Aside from that the box has 3 usb ports,  and SD card slot and an optical output.

The box is running Android 5.1.1 and the software seems to be very well optimized. I didn’t have any apps crashing and no slowing down whatsoever. The launcher that they choose to use is not the best looking but you can always install another launcher from the playstore.
Zoomtak has in fact it’s own App Store, and this is the first time ive seen this on any TV Box.
The box also comes with an addon installer for Kodi. The addons are supposedly updated every 2 weeks and that could potentially save you a lot of time looking for working addons.

All video formats play very well and smooth on the T8H and this is the first time i have seen this on the Amlogic S905 processor.
This is by far the best tv box with the Amlogic S905 processor that i have tested until now.

When I look at your blog in Opera, it looks fine but when opening in Internet
Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Other then that, amazing blog!
